Red Wings prospect Larry Keenan was named team MVP for the Penticton Vees in the playoffs after putting up 9 points in 22 games.
Keenan's coach told reporters how he played huge minutes and was a big contributors to the Vees going so deep in the playoffs this season.
«Larry elevated his game throughout the entire two-month playoff run,» said Fred Harbinson, the Vees' head coach, general manager and president. «His play with and without the puck was a major contributor to our 14 playoff wins.»
Keenan put up 30 points in 53 games in his rookie season in the BCHL and was drafted by the Wings last year in the fourth round, he is set to play at Umass next year in the NCAA.
