Detroit Red Wings first-round pick prospect is out week-to-week because of an injury

Lindgren also reported that this latest injury is a reoccurrence of a previous issue. Alex Sandin Pellikka had already missed the SHL preseason due to this injury, and he played only a few shifts before having to sit out Skellefteå's CHL opener against Red Bull Salzburg.

The team is aiming to surpass their second-place finish in the CHL from last season while also defending their Swedish Hockey League title.
