Detroit Red Wings players are not the ones you want in your fantasy league
The Detroit Red Wings' strong offensive performance last season, ranking 9th in goals and power-play success, hasn't translated to high fantasy hockey rankings.
Dylan Larkin, the top-rated Red Wings forward, is 35th overall, followed by Alex DeBrincat (49th), Patrick Kane (66th), Lucas Raymond (68th), and Vladimir Tarasenko (98th). Moritz Seider is their top defenseman at 32nd in scoring.
Despite these rankings, Detroit's goalies, including Cam Talbot and Ville Husso, failed to make the top 50, highlighting uncertainty in the net. Lucas Raymond, who scored 14 goals in his last 17 games, might be undervalued.
The departure of Shayne Gostisbehere, a key scorer among defensemen, leaves Seider as the leading power-play point man. While the Red Wings have potential, their fantasy value appears modest compared to their on-ice success.
