Former enforcer for the Philadelphia Flyers just signed a PTO's with the Detroit Red Wings
A former Philadelphia Flyers forward, Isaac Ratcliffe, has signed a professional tryout (PTO) agreement with the Detroit Red Wings.
The 25-year-old winger spent last season in the AHL with the Chicago Wolves, scoring seven goals and adding 10 points across 66 games, along with 60 penalty minutes. Drafted 35th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Flyers, Ratcliffe had a brief NHL experience in 2021-22, tallying one goal, four points, and 16 hits in 10 games.
Standing at 6-foot-6, Ratcliffe brings considerable size and physicality to the ice. He previously spent five seasons with the Flyers' AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he recorded 22 goals and 56 points in 162 games. Now with the Red Wings, Ratcliffe is looking to earn a contract and provide depth for the team. His performance during training camp will be key to determining his future organizational role.
