While the Detroit Red Wings are slumping, the Detroit Lions have their eyes set on the Super Bowl, and the Grand Rapids Griffins are paying tribute.
The Detroit Red Wings may be in a serious funk that has left their fan base not feeing much holiday cheer, but the good news is that there is at least one team in the Motor City with serious championship aspirations.
The Detroit Lions sit at an impressive 13-2 despite suffering numerous injuries, and are a serious threat to claim the franchise's 1st championship since 1957
