Patrik Kane is about to reach a big milestone in his career with the Detroit Red Wings
The Detroit Red Wings have several players on the brink of significant career milestones as the 2024-25 NHL season approaches, and Patrick Kane is one of them.
Patrick Kane, one of the team's high-profile signings, is just 16 points away from becoming the third American NHL player to reach 1,300 career points, joining legends Brett Hull and Mike Modano. Kane also needs 29 goals to hit the 500-goal mark, aiming to become the sixth American to join the NHL's 500-goal club.
Vladimir Tarasenko, another key addition, is only seven goals shy of reaching 300 in his NHL career. Dylan Larkin, Detroit's captain, is close to recording 300 assists, while newcomer Alex DeBrincat is 60 points away from hitting the 500-point milestone.
Defenseman Jeff Petry is approaching 1,000 career games, needing just 63 appearances to reach that mark.
Meanwhile, goalies Cam Talbot and Jack Campbell are also on the cusp of personal milestones, with Talbot nearing 500 NHL games played and Campbell seven wins away from 100.
