Red Wings' Cam Talbot Offers Exclusive Sneak Peak at Stadium Series Gear

It won't be long before the Detroit Red Wings take it outside against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and both goaltenders have special gear for the occasion.
The Detroit Red Wings were chosen along with the Columbus Blue Jackets to participate in the 2025 NHL Stadium Series to take place at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
While there have been multiple historic games to take place on the gridiron at the venue, this will mark the first time that a game has been played on a sheet of ice.
And as is tradition, Detroit's goaltenders are going to have special personalized gear for the occasion.
Both Cam Talbot and Alex Lyon have revealed the masks that they've had made for the game, adding a new twist onto the already classic Red Wings look.
Additionally, Cam Talbot's pads he'll be wearing have been released:
The Red Wings and Blue Jackets face one another on Saturday evening at 6:00 PM at Ohio Stadium; they'll also play one another before that at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night.
Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury wanted no-part of Cam Talbot
During an on-ice ruckus on Saturday afternoon's game at Little Caesars Arena between the Minnesota Wild and Red Wings, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury jokingly said that he wanted no part of Talbot.
Both goaltenders vacationed together during the 4 Nations Faceoff, and Fleury said that Talbot's physique prevented him from wanting to race down the ice and challenge him.
I saw Talbot with his shirt off on vacation. [Talbot] has got some big guns and is pretty ripped. So I didn't like my odds in that one.
Unfortunately for the Red Wings, the Wild seized victory from the jaws of defeat after they fought back from a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 in OT.
