Rumor confirmed about Detroit Red Wings free agents

The NHL is buzzing with rumors as the 2023-24 season has come to an end. Teams are gearing up for the NHL Draft and free agency since the Stanley Cup final is now finished.

With the salary cap in mind, GM Steve Yzerman is facing tough choices when it comes to re-signing the Detroit Red Wings free agents. While he wants to bring back Patrick Kane and Shayne Gostisbehere, it may be a challenge to fit them under the cap.

Additionally, there are other key players, such as David Perron, Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider, whose contracts need to be addressed. Yzerman is aiming to secure team-friendly deals to maximize cap space, but the reality is that not all free agents will be able to return with the Wings at the end of the summer. Despite the challenges, the Red Wings are eager to build on their progress and return to the playoffs in the coming seasons.
