Sabres are eyeing to sign Red Wings free agent
The Sabres seems to have their eyes on Red Wings free agent Daniel Sprong for this off-season.
Sprong had a strong season with the Red Wings putting up 43 points in 76 games with the Red Wings while averaging 12 minutes of ice time.
Sprong, 27, quietly had a strong season with the Red Wings, posting 18 goals and 43 points in 76 games. When noting that he spent a good amount of time in Detroit's bottom six and only averaged 12:00 of ice time per night, this production is impressive.
Buffalo is looking to add some scoring to their bottom six and Sprong might be the perfect addition for them. There is a chance he returns to Detroit if Yzerman offers him a solid contract but it looks like he will testing the market.
