Wings have a great 6'6 goaltender on their hands
The Red Wings have a great goaltender prospect in Sebastian Cossa who played this season in the AHL with the Griffins.
Cossa was not called up to the NHL this year but did put up great numbers in his first full season with the Griffins. The young goaltender had a 22-9-9 record with a 2.41 GAA and .913 save percentage.
The 21 year old was drafted 15th overall in the 2021 draft which is not often seen with goaltenders which proves just how much faith the Wings have in him.
While the Red Wings have been struggling with goaltender over the past few years, this might be the perfect time for Cossa to start to make the jump to the NHL even if he is still very young.
