Cole Eiserman's goal-scoring ability is acknowledged but his defensive side of the game and his unidimensional game makes him a risky pick within the top-10.

Trevor Connelly, despite on-ice talent, has off-ice controversies that lead avoiding him at top-16 pick.

Additionally, no goalies are recommended for first-round selections this year due to the lack of a high talent.
