NHL make big announcement regarding salary cap
The NHL made a big announcement yesterday regarding the salary cap for the 2024-25 season.
The salary cap will be making it's first jump since Covid as it will go from $83.5 million to $88 million for next season.
Hearing #NHL salary cap upper limit next season will be $88 million - a slight rise from the $87.7 million figure called for in the CBA's MOU.
This is a big $4.5 million jump from last season which will give teams a lot more freedom once free agency opens up.
