Stanley Cup taken away from the Florida Panthers after the win
After capturing their first-ever Stanley Cup in nearly 30 years, the Florida Panthers are now relinquishing the Stanley cup to the keeper of the Cup for engraving.
The victory sparked extensive celebrations in South Florida, despite the departure of several key players in free agency. The team's names will be etched onto the bottom band of the Cup, preserving their legacy for at least 60 years before being enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Captain Aleksander Barkov and standout Evan Rodrigues will have their names engraved, making their personal celebrations with the Cup even more memorable.
