Sam Bennett suspension fate revealed following hit on Marchand
The big talk from game 3 between the Bruins and Panthers has been Sam Bennett's dirty hit on captain Brad Marchand.
Bennett finished a check on Marchand but sucker punched him in the face at the same time which has taken the Bruins captain out of the lineup for the next few games due to concussions protocol.
The NHL player safety department had until 5PM to make a decision but the deadline came and went meaning he will be able to play in game 4 tonight.
The 5PM deadline for the NHL Department of Player Safety to make a ruling on a suspension for Sam Bennett has now passed.
This means that Sam Bennett will not face any supplemental discipline for his hit on Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand last night.
