A lot of pressure on Red Wings first round pick
The Red Wings decided to call up Nate Danielson to Grand Rapids in the middle of their playoff series to make his pro-debut.
The Griffins head coach said that he knows there is a lot of pressure of the 2023 first round pick but that he trusts him in the lineup.
«It's still a lot of pressure on him to come in here and jump into a series and get going,» Grand Rapids coach Dan Watson said. «He's handled it extremely well. He's a mature kid. Very responsible on the ice. I trust him out there.»
After a win last night, it looks like the Griffins made the right choice bringing Danielson up as they kept their playoffs hopes alive with the win.
