Red Wings goaltender Cam Talbot has been known for his incredible style all throughout his career, and he's got it going on with this new mask.
Detroit Red Wings goaltender Cam Talbot has been easily identifiable throughout his NHL career for his various colourful masks, which typically employ a design inspired by the popular "Ghostbusters" movie franchise.
But since his move to the Red Wings, he's kept things simple and sweet with his mask design, instead choosing to go for a more classic look that highlights the history of the Original 6 club he now plays for.
His mask design incorporates various levels of the design of Detroit's sweaters they'll be wearing for the game along with the classic Red Wings logo:
It's the latest classic mask design for Talbot, who has had some eye-popping editions of his lids in past years.
Cam Talbot was considered to join Canada for the recently completed 4 Nations Faceoff
Earlier in the year, Talbot was in the running to be named to the Canadian roster of the 4 Nations Faceoff, which wrapped up last week in Boston.
Staying humble,
Talbot said in November that it would have been an honour for him to suit up for his home country - even as a practice goalie.
I don't know if I'm even in that conversation, to be quite honest with you. But obviously if I were to be, it'd be an honour just to be even mentioned to wear the Canada crest on my chest for a tournament in any capacity -- starter, backup, practice goalie.
