Should the Wings re-sign Perron?
Red Wings forward David Perron is set to become a free agent on July 1st and now Yzerman will have to decide if they want to re-sign him.
Perron had 47 points in 76 games last season with the Wings but more than that was a huge leader in the locker room.
«He's a take charge guy and the moment's not too big for him,» Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman said of Perron. «He competes hard, he's determined, he's a real professional. He has a real positive impact on our team.»
The winger has also mentioned that he would love to stay in Detroit so it comes down to a matter of if the two parties can agree to a deal.
