Oilers captain Connor McDavid banned multiple games by the NHL
The Oilers captain has been suspended for multiple games thanks to his surprising outburst against the Vancouver Cancuks on Saturday night.
The Edmonton Oilers will not have captain Connor McDavid in their lineup for their next 3 games.
He's officially been suspended by the NHL Department of Player Safety thanks to his outburst on Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks that resulted in his cross check to the head of Vancouver's Conor Garland.
McDavid will forfeit $195,312.51 of salary during his suspension; the money will go to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
