St. Louis Blues defenseman Torey Krug could miss the entire season with injury
St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that defenseman Torey Krug has been diagnosed with pre-arthritic changes in his left ankle.
This injury stems from a previous bone fracture in his playing career. Krug will undergo non-surgical rehabilitation for 6-8 weeks before re-evaluation to determine if surgery is necessary. If surgery is required, Krug will miss the 2024-25 season. Krug, 33, signed with the Blues in 2020 and posted 39 points last season.
Over his career, he has recorded 483 points in 778 games with Boston and St. Louis.
