The Detroit Red Wings are back on home ice and are hard at work in practice this morning ahead of tonight's clash against the divisional foe Senators in Hockeytown.
Tonight, they clash with the divisional foe Ottawa Senators (7:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).
Players are on the ice in preparation for tonight's game; per Ansar Khan of MLive, coach Todd McLellan will be rolling with the following line combinations for tonight's game:
Veleno - Larkin - Raymond
DeBrincat - Copp - Kane
Berggren - Compher - Tarasenko
Rasmussen - Kasper - Motte
Chiarot - Seider
Edvinsson - Holl
Gustafsson - Johansson
Christian Fischer appears to be the odd-man out again; he last played on December 27 against the Maple Leafs.
1. DeBrincat (net front), Larkin (bumper), Raymond-Kane (flanks), Seider (point).
2. Rasmussen (net front), Compher (bumper), Kasper-Tarasenko (flanks), Gustafsson (point).
These are the same combinations that the Red Wings iced in their pair of recent victories as part of the 4-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, the Red Wings remain without defenseman
Jeff Petry, who was hurt in last week's win over the Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.
William Lagesson was re-called from the Grand Rapids Griffins, though he's yet to get into a game; he's skated in a pair of games this year with the Red Wings before being sent back down.
