In the wake of their first win in six attempts on Monday, the Detroit Red Wings have gathered for practice at Little Caesars Arena before making their way back east for tomorrow's game against the Philadelphia Flyers (7:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).
They're practicing with the following line combinations, per Ansar Khan:
Alex DeBrincat-Dylan Larkin-Lucas Raymond
Michael Rasmussen-Marco Kasper-Patrick Kane
Andrew Copp-J.T. Compher-Vladimir Tarasenko
Jonatan Berggren/Joe Veleno-Tyler Motte-Christian Fischer
Simson Edvinsson-Moritz Seider
Ben Chiarot-Jeff Petry
Erik Gustafsson-Justin Holl/Albert Johansson
Husso/Talbot/Lyon
Meanwhile, goaltenders Alex Lyon and Cam Talbot have returned to practice and are on the ice alongside Ville Husso, who had earned the previous four straight starts thanks to the injuries to both Lyon and Talbot.
Detroit's win over Buffalo on Monday night broke a five-game winless skid, and was also the 1st NHL win for goaltender Sebastian Cossa.
Cossa relieved Ville Husso starting in the 2nd period after Husso allowed the Sabres to score three goals on just seven shots; two of Buffalo's goals were of the very questionable variety.
Cossa also became the 1st NHL goaltender to pick up his inaugural win after coming into the game in relief of the starter, and winning via the shootout.
Both Lucas Raymond and Dylan Larkin scored for the Red Wings in the shootout, while Cossa stopped two of the three attempts from Buffalo he faced.
